2025 Festival

The Oxford Human Rights Festival, hosted by the Centre for Development and Emergency Practice (CENDEP) at Oxford Brookes University, returns in 2025 with the theme "The Power of the People." Now in its 23rd year, this student-led festival continues to raise awareness of critical human rights issues through an exciting programme of films, performances, talks, workshops, exhibitions and more. Rooted in the belief that collective action and solidarity can drive social change, this year's theme invites exploration of how people, movements, and communities across the globe have stood up for justice, equality, and human dignity.

Join us as we collaborate with local, national, and international voices to celebrate and examine the transformative potential of "The Power of the People".
